The Ark Church
The Ark Church in York, England, is a Mainstream, Orthodox and Evangelical Christian Church that is Charismatic or Pentecostal in nature. It describes itself as committed to cooperation with other churches. The church was founded in 2003. The Ark church has a clear vision statement and purpose which is summarized in the Blueprint.
== Relationships ==
The Ark works with One Voice in York, a cooperative group of churches in the city of York. In 2007, 68 churches in York took part in the One Voice programme.
The Ark works nationally as part of the Ground Level network and is a group member of the Evangelical Alliance.
The Ark also launched a website for York Students to help them connect with local churches in 2005 called www.yorkstudents.org, and continues to use the Web as a means of preaching to the local population.
